At Island Pilates we pride ourselves on the highest level of qualification and instruction. We are continuously looking at new methods, techniques and have regular in-house training. All of my instructor are trained on the 'Island Pilates Method' to ensure we are delivering consistent classes.

I founded Island Pilates in 2021; having been teaching in Cheshire for 3 years. We relocated to Anglesey and I had always dreamt of running my own studio. I noticed a gap in the market in Anglesey and North Wales for a unique, cosy and comfortable space to teach classes. I wanted the classes to be available to all abilities and ages; allowing people to gain strength in an environment that isn't a busy, maybe intimidating gym. It has allowed me to build a real community of clients who are passionate about Pilates , about looking after themselves; and building strong; injury proof bodies!

Helen has been practicing Pilates for over 15 years, enjoying the wide range of benefits the Pilates strength and mobility discipline achieves with low impact exercises. Having recently qualified as an instructor, Helen helps her clients to progress through the exercises at their own pace, whilst also providing opportunities for progression. Helen ensures regular feedback to help clients develop their form and understanding of Pilates.
Helen's friendly teaching method ensures classes are fun - but focused!
Helen delivers classes in both Welsh and English.

​Daisy has a background in dance and yoga, but started attending regular pilates classes in 2006 whilst working as a junior lawyer and found it helped her chronic back pain & postural awareness enormously. She went on to complete her mat pilates teaching qualifications in Singapore in 2012, and reformer qualifications in 2014 whilst pregnant with her second child. Following a move back to the UK and the birth of 2 more children, Daisy is excited to be teaching again with the great team at Island Pilates

have always been into health and fitness and completed a degree in Sports, Health and Physical Education in 2007 and a Level 3 gym instructor course.
When I moved to Bristol to train as a Dental Hygienist, I discovered a Pilates Reformer studio and instantly fell in love with it!
I then also trained as a Yoga instructor as it was something I had been practicing since the age of 14.
Now that I've stepped back from clinical work and started teaching Dental Hygiene and I've had a family, I felt it was time to start doing what I love so I am teaching Pilates and studying towards the Level 4 master practitioner which will include advanced Pilates, Reformer, pre and post-natal, and Pilates for orthopaedic conditions.
