FAQ's

Do I need experience to join a class?

Not at all! We welcome beginners as well as experienced clients. Our instructors provide guidance and modifications so you can work at your own pace.

What amenities are at the studio?

We have a lovely reception area; so feel free to come early and have a tea or coffee. We also have an outdoor seating area. We have changing rooms, toilets and then our lovely Reformer and Matwork studios! Feel free to stay after class too - we love the studio being buzzy and busy!

How do I choose the right class?

You can explore our instructor bios on the booking page to learn more about each teacher’s style and approach. All of our instructors are fully qualified, have extensive teaching experience, and complete ongoing in-house training to maintain the highest standards.

Start here if you’re a beginner: We recommend Beginner Matwork or Beginner Reformer classes, designed to introduce the fundamentals in a supportive, easy-to-follow way.

Once you’ve gained confidence, you can progress to more challenging sessions:

  • Group Reformer Classes: Small, instructor-led sessions on the reformer for a dynamic, full-body workout.

  • Strength & Sculpt Matwork Classes: Build strength, tone muscles, and improve endurance with mat-based exercises.

  • Dynamic Matwork Classes: Advanced mat-based sessions combining fluid movement, core control, and flexibility for a more intense workout.

Our instructors can guide you on the best next steps based on your goals and experience.

Can I come by myself?

Yes please! We love when people come along; as usually you will leave knowing three or four new people. Everybody is so welcoming!

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable, form-fitting clothing is best so you can move freely and instructors can check your alignment.

Do I need to wear grip socks?

No, grip socks aren’t required. We use high-quality sticky mats and sanitise all equipment between sessions. Grip socks are recommended for added comfort and stability, and we have them available to purchase at the studio if needed.

How early should I arrive?

  • Regular clients: Please arrive 5 minutes before your class.

  • New clients: Arrive 10 minutes early so we can get you settled, show you around, and answer any questions.

Do you do private classes and if so how do I book a 1:1 class?

Yes we do. You can book these ONLY by contacting the studio directly. Once a time has been arranged we will send you link to book online. Group Classes are booked online or on our app 'Momence' which is free to download on App Store for Apple or Android.

What if I need to cancel a class?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged.

Do you offer classes for older adults or beginners?

Absolutely. We offer gentle and beginner-friendly classes designed to build strength and confidence safely.

Is there parking available?

  • Four Mile Bridge studio: Free parking is available nearby.

  • Menai Bridge studio: On-street parking for up to one hour works well for our 45–50 minute classes. The nearest car park is Wood Street, where you can pay via the PayByPhone app, cash, or card.
